Fiona Murray

Fiona is depicted as a cheerful, light-skinned woman with shoulder-length, wavy brown hair. She has broad, rosy cheeks, a bright smile, and a relatively large nose. A slight gap is visible between her upper front teeth, and her eyes are pale blue. Although her outfit varies between depictions, she is consistently shown wearing a pearl necklace and is most often dressed in warm colors such as red or yellow.

Fiona is portrayed as deeply optimistic and warm-hearted. She cares about the people at MCM, often encouraging them through Mrs. Helpful, and serves as a voice of reason in Edwin's life. She is also extremely creative; many character designs found throughout MCM are credited to her, including the original version of Chica the Chicken and the classic animatronics.

Despite her caring nature, Fiona has limits. She becomes exasperated when Edwin prioritizes work over his family and even avoids telling him directly that she plans to attend Fall Fest because he disapproves of her going.

Fiona began working at Murray's Costume Manor as a puppeteer, where she met Edwin Murray after he pulled her aside to use her voice for a project. They soon entered a relationship and married. After Edwin's father died, they became co-owners of Murray Co. In this role, Fiona became the lead designer for most MCM projects, overseeing character and costume designs. She also voiced many of MCM's commercials, including advertisements for the Stay-Up-Latte coffee maker. When Edwin was struggling, Fiona encouraged him to focus on one project at a time; that approach eventually helped Murray Co. achieve massive success.

Shortly after taking over the company, Fiona and Edwin had their son, David Sean Murray. Around David's first birthday, Fiona made a puppet as a gift for him. However, his young age, combined with Edwin's insistence on the doll, frightened David. Around David's second birthday, Edwin began work on a special project during the party, much to Fiona's annoyance.

At some point, Fiona and Edwin disagreed about her attending Fall Fest, an event for which MCM had completed commissioned work. Fiona recorded a personal message to Edwin explaining that she wanted to attend anyway, because a strange feeling urged her to go in case something bad happened. Unfortunately, her instinct was justified: Fiona died in a sudden fire at the event.

Much later, David was confused by her absence from his birthday. Edwin had to explain to the three-year-old that she was gone but would always be with them in her own way. He ended the recording by looking at a picture of himself and Fiona and expressing how much he missed her. Afterward, Edwin completed his project, M1, which inexplicably began mimicking Fiona, eventually adapting her entire identity and acting as her replacement in Edwin's eyes.

• Edwin and Fiona Murray's voice actors, Jim and Tamra Meskimen, are also married in real life. They also voice Mr. & Mrs. Helpful, who are married characters, as their names suggest. In-universe, Edwin and Fiona are likewise the respective voice actors of the Helpfuls.
• Unlike the other narrators or commercial characters, every character Fiona voices in the commercials is labeled "Fiona" in the subtitles.
• Although Fiona's cartoon depictions remain mostly consistent with her design elsewhere, all of them show her with dirty-blonde hair instead of her dark-brown hair.
