The Tunnels and Tiger Rock Walkthrough

A screenshot-by-screenshot route through Tiger Rock's four rooms: every lever, glowing toy, maze marker, and the return to the ending fork.

Quick answer

Move between active lights until each lever reveals a glowing toy. Carry each toy through its maze by following the yellow arrows, backtrack whenever Tiger Rock blocks a corridor, then use the red arrows to reach the final pedestal and the elevator back.

1. Enter the dark passage

Leave the blueprint elevator and follow the tunnel to the room with a central staircase. Before going down, check the Inventory machine, the cassette terminal, and the yellow-taped archway. The archway is not the route forward yet. Walk downstairs, pull the lever at the bottom, and enter the dark passage that opens on the left.

The central staircase is the landmark: the lower lever opens the dark route.

Do not wait at the taped archway; it is the destination side, not the opening route.

Pull this lower-level lever, then take the newly opened passage on the left.

2. Understand Tiger Rock's rules

Tiger Rock teleports after a distinct metallic clanking sound. The encounter has four rooms, and each room asks you to find a glowing toy before the next door opens.

  • In darkness, a rising whoosh starts a short death timer. Reach any active light before it completes.
  • Under a light or while carrying a glowing toy, Tiger Rock teleports nearby and tries to block the route.
  • Touching him is always fatal, even while protected by a toy.
  • Sprint across long dark gaps, but move slowly in narrow maze corridors so you do not run into him after a teleport.

You may look at Tiger Rock to locate him; the screen effect is disorienting but looking at him does not cause damage. The safe rhythm is listen for the teleport, identify the next light, then move. Never try to squeeze around his body: his hitbox is wider than the model suggests.

3. First lever room — reveal the first toy

Move between flickering pools of light and inspect whatever each light reveals. The room is a tutorial, so let Tiger Rock teleport and observe his preferred blocking positions before committing to a long crossing. Locate the illuminated wooden structure with a lever in front of it, pull the lever, and move to the newly opened hatch.

Pick up the glowing baby toy from the podium. It prevents the darkness timer, but it does not let you touch Tiger Rock. Carry it down the corridor to the left of the podium and place it on the next pedestal to open the second room.

4. First maze — take the second toy through the yellow route

At the entrance, pull the lever to reveal the second toy behind the fence. Use either side corridor to reach the long central passage, changing routes if Tiger Rock fills one corridor. There are multiple approaches, so retreat and choose the other side instead of crossing through him. At the back of the room, take the toy from its pedestal.

With the toy in hand, darkness no longer triggers the death timer, but Tiger Rock can still kill you by contact. Look down beside the podium for the yellow arrows and follow them through the tight maze. Move only a short distance at a time, wait for Tiger Rock to teleport, and continue only when the next corner is clear. If he blocks the route, backtrack briefly; he will usually relocate.

5. Final lever room — use the post-teleport sprint window

This room repeats the flickering-light pattern with longer dark gaps. Do not start a crossing while Tiger Rock is entering teleport mode. Wait for the clank and the end of his teleport, then sprint to the next pool of light while the timer is reset. Continue until an illuminated scene reveals the lever. Pull it, reach the hatch, and collect the third glowing toy. This room is short and has a checkpoint, so prioritize learning the timing over forcing a risky shortcut.

6. Final maze and exit

Carry the toy into the tight maze and follow the yellow arrows painted on the walls. The passages are narrower than the first maze, leaving less room to turn around. If Tiger Rock fills a corridor, retreat to the previous turn, wait for another teleport, and re-enter only after the path is open. Do not attempt to squeeze around him.

After leaving the tight maze, switch to the red arrows painted on the floor. The area is more open and has fewer walls, so Tiger Rock can cut across the route from several angles. Stop after every teleport, check the space in front of and beside you, then follow the arrows to the final pedestal and insert the toy. The doors ahead open into the lit return route.

7. Stop before the ending fork

Climb the stairs and ride the elevator back toward the Security Office. The Dispatcher confirms that the blueprints have been recovered. This return begins the endgame choice; it is not a normal checkpoint to rush past. Before completing the next objective, open the Endings guide or the Secret Ending route if you are preparing a specific finale.
