Spring Bonnie

Spring Bonnie is an animatronic rabbit and also an unwithered version of Springtrap. They have yellow fur and their FNaF World appearance shows that their eyes are colored green and that they wear a large purple bowtie. In their early appearance in VR, their eyes were seen glowing purple. Due to FNaF World being their only appearance outside of an 8-bit sprite and VR's teasers, not much else can be said about what the character looks like.

When the Ultimate Guide Book was revealed, it showcased an image showing the unused model of Spring Bonnie, showing it was very similar to Springtrap's model, but with a thicker head and smaller jaw.

In the poster advertising Fredbear's Family Diner Spring Bonnie takes on the appearance of a realistic rabbit with purple eyes and a purple bow tie. They also strangely have whiskers.

Prototype Spring Bonnie is a rudimentary springlock suit that appears weathered and mostly unfinished. The grungy, metallic suit has a wider frame and a thinner head than Spring Bonnie's traditional look, and it has four fingers instead of the usual five typically seen on springlock suits. Its limbs are connected together with rubber tubing and springs, and all four of them along with the suit's pelvis are covered in extra metal panels bolted on top of the suit. The head holds a large brown nose, long ears, two rows of teeth with buck teeth on the top, and empty eye sockets. Finally, the suit has a bowtie-shaped indentation just below the neck with a small red button in the middle which opens up the stomach hatch to let somebody crawl inside.

Spring Bonnie was a springlock suit used at Fredbear's Family Diner. A prototype of the character's suit was originally made on commission by Murray's Costume Manor, but later be replaced with a different design. Spring Bonnie, alongside Fredbear, preformed on-stage at the diner. When the restaurant closed down, the suit was used by William Afton to lure and kill five children. After this is was stored in the safe room.

William Afton later would find the suit in the saferoom after disassembling the Classic Animatronics to find that his victims souls were inside. He would then put on the suit in an attempt to scare off the souls of his victims. Once he thought he'd won he began to laugh. His carelessness as well as the leaking water above him caused the springlocks to snap, killing him. He would then go on to possess the suit and become Springtrap.

Spring Bonnie's behavior in the game is heavily implied to be the exact same as Glitchtrap's, as many early files imply that Glitchtrap took their place once they were scrapped from the game.

Prototype Spring Bonnie appears as one of many wearable springlock suits hidden in Murray's Costume Manor's Research and Development section. After the player has unlocked a door through the usage of a different suit, they can access the stage Spring Bonnie stands in. After opening the curtain on the stage, the player can activate the suit and wear it, hiding them from the Mimic, as well as allowing them to place another suit under the security light to drain the power and allow them access to the office holding F10-N4.

• Spring Bonnie's origin is very strange, as they were first mentioned and seen in FNaF 3, appeared as a background character in FNaF 4, and got their only 3D appearance in FNaF World (if Help Wanted's teasers are not counted).
• A majority of Spring Bonnie's design aspects, such as the color of their eyes and bowtie, originate from their appearance in FNaF World.
• Spring Bonnie's gender has never been specified, leaving it ambiguous. The only reference to their gender is in the form of their loading screen in FNaF World, which is a direct reference towards said ambiguity. The loading screen reads; "Male? Female? It's a rabbit, who cares."

• Footage of Glitchtrap in an older version of the game was believed to have been Spring Bonnie due to the lack of a visible model. However, it was eventually found that the footage had to have been of Glitchtrap instead, as the footage came from a version of the game that was made after Spring Bonnie was removed.
• In the first few teasers for VR, Spring Bonnie was shown. In a later teaser Spring Bonnie was swapped out in favor of Nightmarionne.
  • Before being swapped out, Spring Bonnie's head looked noticeably different in comparison to the "Remember Jeremy" teaser. This was likely done due to the model being traced.
• Spring Bonnie's design in the cover art was traced from a fanmade model in the FNaF fangame POPGOES Memories.
• Spring Bonnie's model was found in the files of the Oculus Quest version of Help Wanted, along with 4K textures.
• A poster of Spring Bonnie advertising Fredbear's Family Diner can be found within Security Breach along with two other Fredbear's Family Diner poster referred to as Old Poster.

• Spring Bonnie's prototype suit is internally referenced as just simply "Bonnie", with the only indicator of it being Spring Bonnie being the presence of Fredbear's own prototype suit.
  • This was likely done to keep their file names shorter, though it could also be in reference to Spring Bonnie's name in-universe never being stated as anything more than "Bonnie" or "The Yellow Rabbit" in reference to related characters.
