All Door Codes in Secret of The Mimic
Looking for a specific door code? Skip through this page using the links below to find the code you're hunting for!
Floor 1: Main Hall - Staff Room Door Code
While exploring the Main Hall on the first floor, you'll spot a door locked with a keypad that leads to the staff room beside the entrance to the Workshop. To uncover the code, you'll need to head to the Security Office.
Once you arrive, look at the four surveillance monitors to the right of the terminal on the desk. Each cycle, they'll flash through a series of surveillance cameras.
When it reaches the security camera monitoring the staff room door, you'll notice that the feed contains a whiteboard with the number 2. If you keep watching, each of the next four surveillance feeds will also feature a number. Note down all the numbers until the sequence stops, with the monitors shifting to a feed of the Welcome Showroom. Now, run back to the door and punch the sequence of numbers into the keypad. The code should be: 26294.
Floor 1: Welcome Lobby - Tape Compartment Code
During the course of the main story, Arnold will need to get his hands on the Repair Casette found in the Welcome Lobby so he can fix the broken elevator and get to the Big Top Showroom.
Getting the code to the tape's compartment on the second-floor balcony requires speaking to Mrs Helpful with the Repair clearance setting. She'll inform Arnold that the code for the door is 0158.
Floor 1: Retail Showroom - Retail Showroom Door Code
Once you've earned Executive Clearance, you'll be able to enter the Retail Showroom via the Welcome Lobby. Inside, you'll find a keypad door leading to an elevator you need to venture down to trigger a secret boss fight.
To unlock the door, look for the mailbox and terminal beside the door. Transfer the mail and then read it on the monitor. You'll find a string of emails in your logs tab from a distressed employee who locked the door. These emails provide hints about the door code, listing strange observations and locations. These hints all correspond to the scenery in the Retail Showroom, and your mission is to locate each piece of scenery the employee hints at, then find the security monitor next to it.
Each of the security monitors next to the scenery will have a number in the feed they show. You can take these numbers and then form them into a code by arranging them in the order of the employee's hints. After you've found them all, you'll be able to piece together the sequence, which should be: 80625.
Floor 1: Admin Wing - Party Room Door Code
To get access to the Party Room in the Admin Wing, you'll need to figure out a keypad code that requires a little bit of sleuthing. Around this area are multiple mailboxes, with each mailbox containing snippets of a conversation between several frustrated employees who changed the door code to frustrate their manager.
You need to figure out exactly how they changed the door code by working through each email in order to add their various additions and changes. These clues are all date and time-stamped, so you can figure out both the order of their changes and work out the ultimate code by following the dates and times chronologically. By finding all of the messages and adding their changes, you should eventually settle on the code: 01350.
Floor 2: Corridor Behind Jackie's Box - Office Door Code
Following your battle with Jackie after reaching the Manager's Office, you can return to her Showroom to find a tunnel behind her box. This tunnel will take you to a corridor where you'll face off against the Mimic. Getting past him will lead you around to a door locked with a keypad leading to an office beyond.
But what's the code for this door? Well, to the right of where you enter, you'll find some shelves containing a cardboard cutout sound lure. There's a small gap in the bottom of the shelves to the right of the sound lure, which you can crawl through and find a small passage leading to a barred window to the office behind the locked door. Above this window is a monitor.
This monitor will flash between several surveillance screens, with one showing some number blocks arranged into a pile. You can arrange the numbers on these blocks into a sequence, getting the code to the locked door. Reading the blocks from left to right, you essentially get two different codes that could open the door: 0412 or 0434. When you test them, the true code will be revealed as: 0434.
Floor 2: Birthday Showroom - Birthday Showroom Door Code
When accessing the Birthday Showroom on the second floor, you'll find a keypad-locked door behind the cake in the centre of the room.
The solution to unlocking this door is found in the office in the Showroom Lobby. The entrance is directly next to the receptionist desk. When you're inside the office, look on the monitor to the left of the terminal.
Beginning with a surveillance feed of the mannequin with a 4 on its back, watch the footage and note down any numbers you see in the surveillance feed until the camera resets to the shot of the mannequin. This sequence of numbers is the code to the Birthday Showroom door. The sequence should be: 4782.
Floor 2: Big Top Showroom - Balcony Door Code
After reaching the Big Top Showroom and facing off against Music Man during the events of the main story, Arnold will need to access a locked door on the Big Top's second floor. The code's solution is randomised for each playthrough, so let's run through how to figure it out. As you were facing off against Music Man, you'll have no doubt noticed that some of the mannequins in his arena had glow-in-the-dark numbers written on their backs. These numbers are the key to proceeding on to the Data Diver upgrade.
If you look at the keypad, you'll notice there's a board beside it. The board will show four symbols in a line. What these symbols are and the order you'll find them in will change from game to game. If you look over the balcony, you'll see a group of mannequins standing in a circle on the floor below. Each has a different hat on and a number written on its back.
To find the code, search the crowd for the four mannequins wearing the hats indicated by the symbols on your board and then take note of the numbers on their backs. Once you have all four numbers, assemble them in the order of the symbols on the board. That sequence of numbers is your code.
Edwin's Mansion - Attic Code
When you reach Edwin's Mansion during the Parachute.exe ending, you'll come across a locked attic door that requires a code to enter. Unfortunately, this attic code is randomised for every single playthrough, and so you'll have to find your specific code by completing the puzzle. However, I can walk you through how to uncover it. The crux of the puzzle revolves around the dining room, which is found through the shutter directly opposite where you enter the mansion boss encounter. Inside this dining room is a projector.
This room is the key to figuring out the code to the door upstairs. If you look on top of the projector, you'll see a picture of David's name written on a blackboard with each letter drawn in a different colour. These colours correspond to coloured tapes we'll find on both floors of the house in bolted lockers.
Each tape will showcase a memory of David's birthday, with the video ending by showing a number on the screen. We have to assemble these numbers by sorting the coloured tapes into the order of the coloured letters, thus revealing the order of the numbers we find at the end of them.
By looking at the picture, you'll be able to see tape colour order is: green, pink, blue, red, white. Find all of the tapes, figure out the numbers for each tape colour and then turn those numbers into a code for the door upstairs.
