Digi-Typer

The Digi-Typer appears similar to the S.T.A.F.F. Bots, being a humanoid robot with three-fingered hands and a large base with wheels as his lower body instead of legs. Digi-Typer's body is mostly silver in color, with two metal bars for arms and painted white hands to mimic gloves. His face has pale yellow bulbs for eyes, and a large friendly smile made with a hinged jaw. It wears a blue mail carrier cap with a red carrier signal flag on the left hand side, a black rim, and two golden buttons above the rim on both sides. It wears a blue button-up shirt with a small black bowtie, and dark blue shoulder pads. His shirt has a large tear in it revealing the animatronic's inner frame and golden gears. His waist section and neck are both made up of black rubber tubing.

Digi-Typer's lower body appears as a large blue filing cabinet and paper shredder combination with a small set of keys on the front that Digi-Typer is able to type on. It sits on four small wheels, and has a handle on the back to allow someone to push and move Digi-Typer. On the back of the base is a port that the shredded paper is filtered out through, resulting in a large pile of paper shreds behind Digi-Typer.

When first encountered, Digi-Typer can be found in the middle of its work. Upon walking into the office it's in, the animatronic will greet Arnold before turning back to his work of picking up pieces of paper, staring at them for a moment, shredding them, and then typing something on its keyboard. After Jackie breaks into the office and begins to pursue Arnold, the Digi-Typer will suddenly turn to greet her only for Jackie to determine that the Digi-Typer is "it" and tackle the animatronic, ripping off its arm, taking out tons of stored paper, and then proceeding to throw it through a wall, destroying the animatronic.

Later in the Doll Hospital, Arnold can stumble upon a large room of deactivated and incomplete Digi-Typers. One particular one in this room briefly activates to greet Arnold only to instantly deactivate afterwards.

• Despite being a fax machine by advertisement, it appears all of Digi-Typer's letters get automatically shredded, as seen by those sent out to YouTubers in promotional gift boxes of Secret of the Mimic memorabilia.
• Digi-Typer was one of the first characters teased for the game, with people who played the PAX West demo in 2024 describing him to those who were unable to play it.
• Before release, most fans referred to Digi-Typer as "Mail Bot", following along with the naming scheme of the S.T.A.F.F. Bots, whom Digi-Typer is likely a precursor to.
• Digi-Typer is the only S.T.A.F.F. Bot associated character to have a proper mouth.
  • While variations of S.T.A.F.F. Bots such as the Nightmare Bots or Sewer Bot have mouth-like equivalents, none of them have properly hinged jaws, as the Nightmare Bots' mouths are painted on, and the Sewer Bot simply has a speaker above its chin.
